Safety Health Environmental Manager-Rockland

Job Description
The SHE Manager is accountable for overseeing compliance of all site related SHE policies, procedures and methods. Provide oversight, develop solutions and facilitate implementation of SHE programs, training, events and methods. Ensure sight compliance with identified requirements.
The SHE Manager will be on the leadership team for the largest carrageenan (high molecular weight polysaccharide from seaweed extract) producing facility in the world providing product for food, nutrition, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical use.
Safety Responsibilities
Lead deliberate improvement in Safety, Health, Environmental and Housekeeping Performance (6S)
Manage and lead 100% compliance of SHE requirements including Incident Reporting & Audits, safe completion of life critical activities within respective department, process safety, food safety and quality standards
Function Management
Continually and deliberately identify and implement improvements in works systems, processes and people development through driving weekly key KPIs, assigning and managing remedial actions for all adverse performance
Administer SHE program meeting required reviews, deadline monitoring of and timely reporting
Actively participate in PHA, PSSR, MOC, RCA and investigator methodologies as leader, coordinator, and/or participant
Manages the site security systems including C-TPAT certification, site guard service and camera systems
Cross-functional Co-operation
Ensure all employees receive proper education, communication and program rollout to facilitate SHE compliance and success
Internal and External Customers
Liaise and consult on site related SHE policy and procedure implementation, communication, and positive outreach to stakeholders outside of the site and/or organization including emergency response
Responsible for positive outreach to stakeholders outside of the site and/or organization including emergency response related to SHE
Direct Administrative Responsibilities
Complete environmental administration and management to ensure 100% compliance with sampling, reporting and submission requirements
Monitor Safety related databases for compliance issues and auditing requirements
Team Management
Ensure direct report development including their empowerment, 100% training requirement compliance, performance, and accountability
Coordinate departmental compliance with relevant SHE standards (corporate, industry, federal, and local level)
Budget Responsibility
Manage fixed and variable costs to department budgeted levels
Key Performance Indicators
Develop metrics for compliance
100% Life Critical Safety Audit assurance and schedule compliance for site
Zero recordables, process safety events (cat 1 &2), and NOV's
Accuracy and timeliness of reporting and auditing responsibilities of policy/procedure implementation
Job Qualifications
BS degree with experience in health, safety, security process safety and occupational safety or related industrial management field.
5-10 years experience in similar role
Demonstrated track record in safety improvements
Project management experience
Direct experience with PSM, PHA, and MOC systems
Demonstrated track record in safety improvements
Extensive experience with OSHA, DEP, EPA regulatory agencies
Policy and procedure creation and implementation
Practice in behavioral change methods
Demonstrated improvement in safety statistics
Hands-on occupational health and WC management
Regulating body experience including OSHA, DEP and RCMS

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
