FMC BioPolymer is currently seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Technician Intern as part of the STEM program. We seek an energetic individual for the Rockland, Maine facility.This person must be a detail-oriented dependable person to work with our Electrical Engineer who follows safe work practices in this specialized area. Candidates must have the following:
Pursuing Bachelor''s degree in electrical/electronic engineering
Familiarity, experience and/or coursework in;
Industrial electrical
Basic programming
The activities for the position include but may not be limited to pH calibrations, other calibrations, general help in electrical, measurement and control. The hours for this position will be 40 hours per week, but schedule is flexible as needed for this 24/7 operation. If you are detail-oriented, organized, can work independently, have good interpersonal skills then we need you!
Please note this position is open to current students. STEM Internships are focused on current students studying science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Wiomen and minorities are encouraged to apply.

_ Pursuing _ degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Good mathematical skills
Computer literacy with basic proficiency in Windows, MS Word and Excel.
Team-work skills.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Would be further interested in students available during semester as well as summer and breaks.
