Cook - Childcare Setting
Are you looking to join a fun energetic team ? We are hiring a Cook at our Rockland preschool program.
The Job includes creating and producing daily/weekly menus based on CACFP requirements.
This position allows one to be creative in homestyle cooking and baking which in turn helps get children excited about trying and eating fresh foods.
There is weekly purchasing/inventory, menu and production reports/ and daily cleaning responsibilities for the kitchen area.
Experience is preferred but could train the right person.

The Cook works in a Childcare setting.
The position is responsible for preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks and may perform tasks which could involve trash removal, shopping, and laundry on an incidental basis.
Successful candidate must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to use small and large kitchen equipment.
Must read, write, perform basic math functions, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
