$5,000 Sign-On Bonus!!!!Spurwink is partnered with Maine's Department of Health and Human Services to provide clinical consultation and support services to the Office of Child and Family Services - this position directly supports OCFS District 4, Rockland.
Key activities include training, support and debriefing to child protective case workers including individual and group support, case consultations, and interactive trainings both in person and remotely.
Ideal candidates will bring strong clinical consultation and support skills, willingness to collaborate and work as part of a creative and caring team.
This position pays $52,000 to $62,000 depending on experience and licensure.
This position also includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus, $2,500 paid upon 3 months of full-time employment, $2,500 paid after 6 months of employment.
This sign-on bonus applies to new hires.

DUTIES:
Provide in-person clinical consultation to OCFS child welfare and intake staff and child welfare community providers.
Be available by phone for additional consultation (if not co-located onsite at OCFS District Offices).
Review OCFS records to support effective and case-specific clinical consultation.
Obtain certification in Critical Incident and Stress Management (CISM)Provide Critical Incident and Stress Management (CISM) within required timelines to OCFS child welfare and intake staff and child welfare community providers including but not limited to debriefing, defusing grief and loss, and crisis management supports.
Provide input, guidance, and research with a goal of strengthening the Department's response to Critical Incident(s) and improving Department staff functioning, upon request of the Department.
Prepare clinical training materials to be presented to OCFS child welfare and intake staff and child welfare community providers including training curriculum, hand-outs, sing-in sheets, evaluations, and certificates for the purposes of documenting staff continuing education.
Provide in-person clinical trainings to OCFS child welfare and intake staff and child welfare community providers.
Maintain currency on clinical and child welfare national best practices and relevant topics in order to provide high-quality training and consulting to OCFS staff.
Topics include but not limited to Motivational Interviewing/Behavior Change, Effective Parenting, Substance Use disorders, and Trauma-Informed practice.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with OCSF staff and leaders in order to be the most effective in responding to their clinical consultation, training, and critical incident management needs.
Be available outside business hours in the event of need for critical incident debriefing and support.
Engage in weekly supervision with the Project Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited school is required.
Independently licensed in the state of Maine as an LCSW or LCPC preferred however conditional licenses are considered.
Must maintain required licensing and certification throughout the duration of employment with Spurwink in this role.
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of (3) years of foster care, child welfare and/or mental health experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
