Perform physical testing of raw materials, basic extracts, finished products and in-process materials to ensure that products manufactured by the plant meet FMC specifications and regulatory requirements.
Testing
Perform routine product quality tests consistently and accurately according to FMC guidelines, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Report test results in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all test results.
Conduct daily in-process testing for appropriate process control adjustments and demonstrate capabilities to look at all process parameters and make recommendation - needing at times some direction. Perform tests to help resolve quality issues and support product quality improvement initiatives. Conduct basic seaweed raw material testing and regular waste water testing.
General Lab Support
Calibrate and maintain basic laboratory test equipment and facilities.
Provide general lab support by ordering supplies and requesting maintenance work orders.
Adhere to the Quality Management System requirements and help ensure that the Quality Control laboratory is ready for internal and external audits.
Safety
Practice safe work procedures and adhere to site safety policies.
Actively participate in safety programs.
Personal Development
Be responsible for seeking out training and development needs to perform job effectively.
High School Diploma; Associates Degree in Science preferred.
Good mathematical skills.
Computer literacy with basic knowledge of Windows.
Basic statistic knowledge preferred.
General laboratory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements include:
Able to move around (walking, standing) at least 75% of working day.
Able to work at a computer terminal about 25% of working day.
Able to navigate in plant to conduct in-process testing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
